Meet TaKara

Hello and thank you for checking out The Rooted Rebel Birth Services! I’d love to share with you a little bit about myself. My partner and I have four wonderful children. We enjoy visits to the library, walks outdoors, paddleboarding, good food and good company. I’ve been a surrogate twice! It was a magical experience that I am forever grateful for. I am part of the LGBTQ+ community and believe strongly in treating everyone with respect and compassion.

Each one of my births was completely transformative, but I cannot say I’ve always felt heard or supported before, during, and after my births. My own experiences have slowly led me to the path of birth work to fill in gaps that are missing with maternity care. My mission is to help you have a positive experience during and surrounding your birth - one you can look back on with only positive and warm thoughts. I would be honored to assist you during such a pivital and beautiful moment in your life.
